Simberi Gold Corporation ("Simberi") announces that Mr. Geoff Farrar has been joined the Board of Directors of the Corporation. Mr. Farrar is the retired president of Barclays Bank of Canada and has extensive experience in international business. While at Barclays he was instrumental in assisting MacDonalds setting up its Russian operations. His knowledge will be of assistance to the Company as it proceeds with seeking new mining investment opportunities.

Mr. Peter Miller and Mr. Peter Gleeson have resigned as directors of the Corporation. This is in order for them to devote more of their efforts to PGM Ventures and the development of its Aguas Tenidas mine in Spain. Both of these gentlemen have been of considerable assistance to Simberi over the past few years.
